Install byond updates?

Hello,

I am a vista user and I am having this recurring issue, I was wondering if someone knows how to fix it... Okay, so I open up my byond pager and I get the update message. So I click it and update section and get an okay. It says make sure everything is closed... On XP on this point on I would have been done. However, with vista I am having an issue after this point. It has a message I don't remember. It basically has the options to retry or cancel my update...

So I was wonder, is there like something I can tweak to make it like the old xp days?

PerfectGoku	You should be more clear on the message you're pertaining to. Did you try downloading it directly from BYOND? Screenshots of what the error is would be appreciated.

Nadrew	Are you sure you're running it as an administrator? Have you tried downloading it from http://www.byond.com/download?

FlyingMonkeys	Yes, I am sure I am an admin... As for the site, no. I used to be able to do it the way I showed you on xp =/

ACWraith	I've had this problem ever since I started using Vista in November 2008. Ignore the pager updates. Download from the main site, uninstall the old version and install the new version.

Ignore the pager updates. Download from the main site, uninstall the old version and install the new version. No need to uninstall beforehand.
