I just recently got XP on my Eee 4G (man was it a PITA!)
I still have about 1.25 Gigs left (after installing Dropbox, Firefox, Thunderbird, Pidgin, VLC, among a few other essential programs.)

I put World of Goo on there, ran great!
Are there any more fun games I should put on there, that are (preferably) low in space, and that can run on... "low spec" systems?
The original Red Alert. Diablo. Nox. Civs. SimCity. There are plenty of others, but I'm not sure you want a list of old but good games. Oh yeah, Fallout 1-2.

Well, I like to turn away from shooters, only because there not that easy to simply "pick up and play for a bit"

And I would like it if they were free? :)
I used to play a game called 'Dofus' that might be worth a look into. The game was a tad bit on the childish side but had an alluring strategy take for the combat. Simular to most combat strategy games such as Final Fantasy Tactics, or Advanced Wars.

The game itself was very small, and ran quite well on the older, low spec system I was using at the time.

Really? Where? It would save me digging out my old CDs if I could just download it.
