I recently cleaned out all of my old music, even though I still listened to it, because it was all unorganized. Here's my current list of artists, though.

Alexisonfire
Anberlin (I'm thing about deleting this one, though, I just wanted to check out some of their music based on their one song, and none of their songs seem to be as good as it)
Atreyu
Avenged Sevenfold
Billy Talent
The Brotherhood of Dae Han
Bullet for my Valentine
Rage Against the Machine
Reel Big Fish
Rise Against
System of a Down

You can look here to find all the music I have on my PC. I update it anytime I add new music, so that should remain there.

I don't listen to any specific music, I just go for the local radio stations in my area:

http://209.85.88.198/TheJoyFM1005.pls
http://christianrock.net/CRDN/live/high.pls (Not in my Area)

It's pretty sweet because I can pull them up on my iPod and listen to any radio station as long as I have signal.

I don't really get these threads. Is anyone actually interested in other people's taste in music? There's rarely any actual replies in a thread like this, it's not a dicussion, it's just everyone spouting off some huge list of music that no one but themselves is interested in.

Oh well.

Wow Pop, over 2,000 songs?! O_O
That must take up a ton of space on your hard-drive. o_O

Naw, I actually scan them and look for favorite bands, especially ones which aren't real mainstream and might signal somebody who's on the same little-beaten path as myself. For example, Vortezz and I connected via music and we've had some good discussions over the years.

I also look through peoples playlists, I usually find that most people listen to 2-4 bands that I do, aswell.

Although this is an old post, since vortez revived this thread, I might as well reply.

I actually like to see what people listen to. Occasionally, I may see that a person has listed a few artists I enjoy. Seeing that we may have similar taste in music, I go and look at the other artist they listed hoping to also enjoy them.
Three new ones to the list:

Alice in Chains
Diamond Head
Iron Maiden

I actually like to read stuff like this, peoples music threads I see a band name that I never did before youtube it and see if i like the sound. Example would be me and my new found love for alexisonfire and rage against the machine.

I saw a few people here say they liked System of a Down, I checked them out and I wasn't disappointed!

When someone says they don't know who System of a Down is it throws me off.

To me it is like someone saying who are the Beatles or who is black sabbath or something. Even people who don't listen to them know who they are. Apparently System hasn't reached that point yet. I was misinformed. o.O
