I loaded up my linux partition today to meet this screen : http://www.maz.byond.com/Images/pics/Desktops/pardon.png
All I can say is.. O.o

heh... never seen that before...

what did you do? start up command.com in WINE? :p

or maybe you left a WindowsXP CD in the drive and it autostarted?

or didn't you mean you started up your windows partition in Linux?

I left the CD in, but the ambiguity made it funnier ;)
KDE is Satan! The GNOME can cleanse you! ;)

Anyhoow, did you wine the autorun setup program or what? Or are you using VMWARE 0.o

Wine just auto-ran it when I turned on the PC :P
How about MAC OSX on a Windows machine? :D

ya got it working- cool! I'm gonna give it a try this weekend.
Good, it seems *nix has finally got its act together, or perhaps it is a sign from God. I myself need no sign to steer clear from *nix, what little common sense I have does come in handy. :-P

Pity you need a copy of OS X to run that, which automatically disqualifies me. =( Why do I want to do it? Dunno... I guess I just like playing with emulators. *grin*

And yes, that is one of the weirdest non-faked screenshots I've seen in a while. =)

CD ISOs are... attainable via the web ;)

Not MY screenshot either, just to clarify.

With my download limit? You have got to be joking. Besides, it's illegal. =P

Just reminded something my friend ALWAYS says.

"No occifer (intentional), I don't do that - it's 'illegal'".

depends on the iso - latest Darwin, (the core of MacOSX), is freely available for download.

Really? Sweet, I didn't know that. How useful is it just by itself, though? And will PearPC run it without chucking a hissy fit because something non-core is missing? =)
In response to Crispy
i have not had a chance to try it, but the pearpc docs say to use the darwin iso to boot and partition the 3GB virtual disk because using the macosx installer is not very consistent for some reason. darwin itself is just the core shell-based system- you would have to install a gui on top, like xfree86 for example.

also keep in mind that even if you got macosx running, the windows version of pearpc does not have networking support yet.

Eh. That's what I was afraid of.

There's nothing Mac-only that I particularly want to run anyway. Seeing as this is going to be out for Windows soon. =)

Darwin doesn't contain the pretty lil' Aqua OS that MAC OSX has, though. :(
