The fix for world.Export() in the new version I am hoping will fix the bug people were getting in Chess where DS would crash for the host after reporting scores to the high score server.

I had narrowed down the crash to a particular call to world.Export() the report scores proc was calling. It seemed to crash for those using Windows 98.

Would someone who was experiencing this crash update to 333, and see if it is fixed for them? I may have to make one more small adjustment to my code to synch up with this release.

Interesting.

Ok, I have no idea why some crash and some don't. I'm on XP, and I don't.

Want to try out 333 for me?

sure, I just updated. I can't host though.

You up for a game of chess?

Well, since the bug only affected the host, you won't see a difference.

I don't know if this relates to the new version of byond or anything . . . but I was playing someone (who was obviously about to lose) and he somehow aborted the game on his own. o.O He offered to abort, and when I didn't do the same, he then offered a draw. I refused the draw, and then he tried to abort again and it actually did without my doing anything.

I'll look into it. I don't think it's related to BYOND... just a funky chess bug.
