BYOND Pager doesnt go into online mode

Descriptive Problem Summary: My byond pager doesnt go into online mode and cant download game from website.

Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem: Ive tried to reinstall , relogging , restarting router.

Code Snippet (if applicable) to Reproduce Problem:


Expected Results: Suppose to go into online mode.

Actual Results: Nothing happens

Does the problem occur:
Every time? Or how often? Almost everytime
In other games? Games i havent downloaded
In other user accounts? Yes
On other computers? Yes

When does the problem NOT occur? Never

This is almost certainly a firewall configuration problem. It is very common for firewalls to only allow certain versions of a program to connect to the Internet by default. Usually this uses a hash check (like MD5) to make sure the .exe hasn't changed. You need to configure your firewall to turn this off for the three BYOND programs that can connect to the Internet: byond.exe, dreamseeker.exe, and dreamdaemon.exe.
