This feature has already been implemented, or is already achievable with existing methods.
instead of having to relog or wait for it to notify you when a game has come online add a refresh button and it will refresh your friends + Favorited games list.

The pager already updates these things almost immediately, adding a refresh button would just be pointless spam

I think he's saying that it doesn't update fast enough. I'm not sure what the refresh rate of the pager is, but it's definitely not "almost immediately" in my opinion. Join an empty game and see how long it takes for the number of players to change to 1.

It's not immediately. It refresh i think every 1 minute or 30 seconds. >(
