Woot! Today i just got my new Phenom II x2 (Yeah, II x2) i don't need a good good PC though. This is my second processor installed. :D
Anyway, i heard that enabling the 2 disabled cores (x3 and x4) have some risks, right? :/
And yes, Dual Core and Tri Core are Quad Core but with some disabled cores.

I should enable them? :D giv me luuck!
You should google the risks of doing so and make your own decision.
It's not really a risk. The worst case is those two cores are unstable and you can just relock them.
Not all CPUs can be unlocked though and still be stable, most can.
I went with the Phenom II x6 and called it a day.
Well, i've tryed to overclock to 7000 MHz. My computer weren't able to startup. :/
Now i overclocked to 4100 MHz but i don't see any changes and in CPU Information it shows 3.1 GHz. :/
... If you really tried to overclock to 7000MHz, I implore you to spend a lot more time researching overclocking before trying again.
Lol. I we're trying random things. I we're able to overclock to 5000 MHz. But at start became slow. :/
Well, are you're going to accomplish with overclocking it so high is making it unstable and causing it to overheat. I hope you enjoy buying a new CPU >.>
Nah, i disabled it. So no problem ^-^
