This feature has already been implemented, or is already achievable with existing methods.
There'a no reason for any feature to have over 30 votes. Obviously if it has 30, it'd get looked at. The BYOND members who actually care about the features being added are a very small community. Yet we have a feature request with 57 votes. Why? There's no reason for that. I say lock it at like 30 votes. It'll def still get attention. Adding more votes to it won't really do anything to help it.(and it'd give opportunities for people to vote for other features if everyone doesn't vote for one feature)
I don't think locking would really help anything, and it would get in the way of an even more popular feature getting voted up to the top.

Besides, votes are limited so users have to allocate them where they think they'll do the most good.
so...do you actually think any other feature is gonna get anywhere near 50...?
