Thus far we've been unable to verify or reproduce this bug. Or, it has been observed but it cannot be triggered with a reliable test case. You can help us out by editing your report or adding a comment with more information.
Sometimes the news posts and stuff don't always appear.

I've noticed it happen when manually logging in with no database (or after an update).

Although I've seen this before I can't really reproduce this reliably. I've tried for a bit to force this but it's just not showing up. Anything else you can think of to reproduce this would be helpful.

This reproduces it all the time:
1. Exit out of the pager.
2. Go to your BYOND user directory
3. Delete the 'cfg' and the 'pager' folders (mimicking a clean install, kind of?)
4. Open the pager.

Exitting out of the pager, and launching it again brings the news posts back.
