Status: Not a bug

This is not a bug. It may be an incorrect use of syntax or a limitation in the software. For further discussion on the matter, please consult the BYOND forums.
EDIT: Changing the tab size to 5 and changing to a bolf font fixed the problem.

Descriptive Problem Summary:
I had decided to change the color scheme and font of the compiler via code preferences and upon changing the scheme, all the text became unreadably glitchy and malspaced(see picture for example). I tried changing the font, assuming it was an issue with that but the problem remained.

I tried to restart DM and my computer but neither made a difference in the problem.

Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
1. Open the Code Preferences menu and change the colors/font to a custom setup(see pic2 for what I did.).
2. Apply the scheme and viola.

Code Snippet (if applicable) to Reproduce Problem:
None.

Expected Results:
The font and text colors to be changed.
Actual Results:
The font and text colors changed but became unreadable.
Does the problem occur:
Every time? Or how often?
Every time that I've tried.
In other games?
Irrelevant.
In other user accounts?
Irrelevant.
On other computers?
I'm not completely sure.

When does the problem NOT occur?
It always occurs.
Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked? I am not completely sure since the last time I changed the scheme for the compiler was on my old computer a year ago.

Workarounds:
None that I know of.

This also happened to me. :S
DM isn't setup to display variable-width fonts correctly. Use monospaced fonts only.
