I've recently started to get "Not enough memory" popups when opening up BYOND after it has been open - It seems the new Pager is using extreme amounts of Physical Memory after being open for long periods of time.

Is this normal, or something on my part?
I agree. For some reason it lags a lot after sometime.
Damn, I thought we licked that bug. Ok, well that's a showstopper so we'll figure it out.
I also have a similar problem. IT keeps on on popping a window saying: "If this continues to run, your Internet Browser will crash, will you like to close it"; Yes, No. I've never pressed Yes yet, I always click No.
I've been investigating this and still am, but it occurred to me I should ask about the usage pattern so I have an idea of whether there's anything in particular that causes this more than others. Maybe something isn't coming out readily in testing.

- What kind of time period did this happen over?
- About how much of that time were you away from your computer?
- Did you click a lot of games/users to open tabs? If so what kinds and/or which ones were done the most?
- Was there a lot of navigation involved or was it stationary?
- What tab were you on the most? What tab did you leave it on when idle?
- About how big is your friend list?

The answers to those could help a lot in my ongoing investigation.
Slow to respond on Windows 8, laggy some times. Haven't got the chance to try this on Win 7 yet.

It seems to happen at anytime when left open.

It happens while I'm browsing othersites & using DM.
- Did you click a lot of games/users to open tabs? If so what kinds and/or which ones were done the most?
Yes, browsing through friends & fans & active games.
- Was there a lot of navigation involved or was it stationary?
Stationary after browsing through all the tabs.
- What tab were you on the most? What tab did you leave it on when idle?
Friends.
- About how big is your friend list?
Online & Offline at least 500+

A security Alert popped up recently via the Pager. Is this intended? :P

Same image popped up for me too.
Just now the Pager crashed, and strangely it crashed Google Chrome that I had open as well.

I was viewing, http://www.byond.com/games/SyncWolf/GameZone with the pager minimized and pinned to the task-bar.

Edit: I was viewing it via the Pager, youtube in Chrome.

Same here.
Check in the Windows Event Viewer for 'administrative events' for crash info.
Instructions:
Start tab.
Search for "Event viewer" or "event logs"
OR
Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer
OR
use Windows Explorer to go to path "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools" and open Event Viewer.

After getting there through any of those methods:
Click 'Custom Views' -> 'Administrative Events'

Look for events with BYOND, Chrome or Internet Explorer as the source. The report should probably look something like this (depending on the source of the crash):

Not a single thing, it's empty.
That's kind of impossible unless you cleared them yourself, but, okay.
In the Event Viewer, if you click on 'Windows Logs', and then 'Application' does stuff appear there?
Yea.
okay, on the right side there should be a button that says "filter current log"

There's a dropdown box with the label "Event sources" - set it to "Application Error" and click OK.

When you scroll through the newly generated log, do you see anything relating to BYOND or IE?

And many many more relating to those.
The middle one is directly related to the pager - version 499.1174. So, that's recent.
The first two happened when the Pager crashed.
Why are they reporting different versions?
