Ok, I have the Following complaints:
In Fig 1.1, the first picture shows you what the defualt color selector looks like. I personally think its way to big, and should be smaller. Ive shown an example of what it would look like smaller in the second picture of Fig 1.1
In Fig 1.2, the first picture shows a grass icon that i have. The second picture in fig 1.2 shows what that same exact icon looks like in the map editor with the selector over it. Not much of a difference is there?
In fig 1.2b ive shown what i believe it could look like if changed, and if you notice ive made the selector area smaller which brings me to my next complaint
In Fig 1.3, the first picture shows what two turfs in the map editor look like if both of them is drawn. As you can see, its pretty bulky in the middle of those two turfs. The second picture of fig 1.3 shows what i think it should look like.
These are just minor complaints, and would be nice if you could change them in the way ive suggested, or in any other way that is at least close to what ive suggested.
Especially the fig 1.2, where i cant see exactley where my selector thing is.
Thanks,
FIREking
Probably the best solution is to have the selection rectangle XOR the pixels it's over, rather than drawing in one constant color. Similarly, it would be nice if the cursor would do the same in the icon editor - it was difficult to tell where the cursor was when editing a mostly black icon. Both minor points though, I say don't waste too much time on them.
The rest of your complaints I believe are more a matter of personal preference - I think they're just fine myself. But the above is certainly a functional issue.
