Is it possible to run a byond game with DD through a firewall?


If it is not, then I think this is the end of my BYOND career.

I did but I still can't afford it, and it feels useless to put work into something that would not be of any use in 4 months

Believe me, even if you did have to stop in 4 months, the skills you're learning now will serve you well all your life...

But maybe something will come up. Perhaps we could set aside one of the Iron Coder competitions for writing games that solicit contributions for a BYOND Scholarship Fund! The possibilities are endless... personally, I'd say stick around as long as you can!

Good to hear! A lot can happen in 4 months. Once we promote the distributed game system a bit more (it just came into existence a week ago!) I think you will find that there are plenty of great opportunities in store that won't even cost you a dime!
