ok, I wrote all the code that I need/want in. Now Im at the making the map state, I put some stone walls up but I dont know how to put down turf/floor on the map. HeLp?

(To keep the discussions on target, you might wanna post these in Newbie Central...) You first need a turf object in your code. Like so: turf/sidewalk icon = 'sidewalk.dmi' Then the turf will show up in the icon hierarchy and you can lay it down like any other object. |
Ok here is a simple example:
turf
floor
icon = 'floor.dmi'
wall
icon = 'wall.dmi'
density = 1
opacity = 1
world/turf = /turf/floor
Then you would compile it. Then you would create a new map(dmp) file and it would have the "ATOMS" on the side. Click turfs, and under it will be floor and wall. You can just select them and begin placing them on the map, although the map should already be filler with the floor tile since we did world/turf = /turf/floor.
