The statpanel() doc is kinda vague, and doesn't discuss the main thing people always ask: how do I create a new tab?

Reading that doc, there is no way to realize that any call to statpanel() creates the associated tab, and that the only way to NOT have the tab show is to make sure the statpanel() call is only reached if you want it to be.
