Here's the deal:

And here's the string I enter in:
say ">=(
Lo and behold, it doesn't notice that >=( symbol, even though I explicitly tell it to, because of the extra \ in front of the search string. Problem is, if I remove that \ part of the macro, it screws up the IMG tag that the search string is a part of... =P
Is this at all fixable?
(If I type
say "\>=(
it works, but that's hardly a reasonable thing to ask of players. =P)
