The game is isometric view style.

I am liking the way the campfire is going in general, but it seems off. I added the markings in the fire itself which made I look a tad better but still doesn't look very fiery.
Try getting some references or other pixel art depicting fire.If it is going to be a single frame than you really have to convey the movement.

Thank you for the link. I have done a few google searchs. Thus what I have so far.

The thing I run into is the lack of isometric type of fire so I am not sure how I should be doing it. Maybe I will step back and then make an iso vase so I can see how iso round shapes are done.
Fire's not really round, though (except in 0 gravity).

On Earth fire flows (almost like a liquid) upwards and follows the contours of whatever solid objects are in its path.

You shouldn't draw a round shape, then draw the tongues of flame going up, you need to "wrap" your burning object in flames.
