I bought a cheapo comp online that I want to set up into a web server/server box. I am wondering if anyone knows any good videos, books, tutorials, etc... on learning the basics of Linux?

The terminal is kind of the ... preferred way to get most tasks done in Linux, unlike Windows. From a user friendly point of view, you've got a UI, but if you're saavy with the commands you can do so much more, and faster, with a terminal. An important thing with Linux is the bash terminal you have, supports a scripting language, so your terminal is also a smallish programming environment that can work over files in your file-system, etc etc

At it's most basic, "get you going" type stuff.
