Since verson 500 and so on, BYOND had been downloading resources incredibly SLOWLY! Take for example this screenshot:
 It took over 3 hours to download just 2.4 Mgb of resources, which usually took less than a minute! Things I have done: 1. Cleared cache 2. Deleted and reinstalled byond 3. tried most recent beta and non beta versions 4. checked antivirus, byond is not being blocked Can anyone offer some assistance? | |

When you run the old version, do you get a speedy download? It's hard to see why the new version would make a difference since it is doing the same thing, so we'd at least like to get that data point.

Is this happening on the same server?
It could just be that the server host is bad, or that your connection to it is bad. Tom, perhaps we can have a download speed added? Downloading resources (2.4 of 4.3 MB) at 2 kb/s | |
Could be multiple things, as Flame Sage said, slow speed on both sides.
This is why I suggest using preload_rsc on a different server so you don't bog down the entire server.. | |

Im having this issue myself now and I tried running newest and the old version....

Still downloading at my regular internet speed of about 15 MB/s on my own server (Not in the same house, quite far apart, actually).. So this may just be your own internet.
