Is there a way to use the dm to at least cover the statpanel(or w/e you wanna call it) with some sort of design or something?

Nope, but I THINK I heard something about changing the color of statpanels once 4.0 comes out. Remember, emphasis on I think.

Well, you can replace it with a solid grey colour... by turning it off. =P But I don't think that's what you meant.

There isn't a lot you can do to customise the look of statpanels. If it isn't in this article, it probably can't be done: http://www.byondscape.com/ascape.dmb/Shadowdarke.2003-0322/
