I'm an old veteran of byond gaming but due to rather unpleasant gaming I left for awhile and have recently returned only to find out one of the more popular games back in the day have died. I really don't see why people won't play a perfectly good murder rp game.

If you're a fan of the game like me then let's join together and bring back the joy of this game. Send me a friend request and let's play sometime, if we can get alot of people who actually follow rp rules then the game itself can be so much better. Plus if we find any designers we can have so many different multi-verses

Pyrce High is a relatively active and almost direct copy (aside from a few extra features) of Mitadake High. The community's a bit...

It is meant as no insult when I say controlling and not the most receptive towards new players, in the bit of experience I have had with it. Even 'private' servers are under the moderation of the game-wide moderators, and the host has little to no ability to manage it aside from their own verbs. Likewise, there are a single set of rules which are enforced on every server-- private or not.

The community prefers it, however, and since they are the ones whom it would effect, they are the ones for whom it is important and prefer it that way. Just keep it in mind if you try it out.

Edit:
It appears I was a bit unfair on them. I went ahead and researched my previous claims on the Pyrce High Forums, and found the following post:

http://pyrcehigh.crazy4us.com/ t442-opt-out-of-game-wide-moderation

As a quote: "it is in no way possible to opt out of server moderation, we're meant to keep the order, it wouldn't be right if a host could just shut us off."

Only a few rules are strictly enforced among all servers, however, and private servers may(?) be exempt, provided they are not visible on the hub? I'm not certain. Regardless.

Good to make an informed decision.
The above is a largely moot point, since it would appear that the game is now entirely opensource, allowing an interested developer to do with it as they please.

Edit:
And it looks like the new successor to Pyrce High is Misuterii High. Well.

Um ok? But either way Pryce High is just as dead as Mitadake as well I've never had the opportunity to play Pryce High with other people because it has always been dead. anyways You lost me right about here Hemperor:

as a 10+ rp vet from myspace and various other rp sites, I don't see why I would want to avoid this "wide range of moderators". If one was to simply follow the basics of rp then they should have nothing to fear.

And regarding Misuterii High, I thank you Decius for pointing me in the right direction of the new MH ripoff. I'll immediately try it
Of course. Otherwise:

I do dislike a centralized moderator system, myself-- Just like I dislike a centralized rule system like that. Prefer for the hosts to handle that. And... I admit that the rules aren't quite the 'basics of rp'. Or, weren't for Pyrce High, anyway.

But I like how Misuterii High does it. Anyway, glad I could be of help.

Have a nice day.
