So Im trying to set up a sever for the first time, but Im doing something wrong. I keep getting the red message in Deamon that says other people can't connect and I cant seem to figure out how to fix it.

## ERROR: File not found (.git/logs/HEAD)is the message its giving me as well.

Im also having issues with setting up the database. The link from the wiki no longer works, so Im stuck there too.
What wiki are you referring to?
You're going to have to give us more information for us to help out. Is this a file you've downloaded from someone's hub page, and if so, which?
the ss13 wiki, but the database isn't the main problem.

For wherever reason, I can't get the sever to connect to the ports I forwarded. Places ive looked suggested I use dream seeker, but im not sure if thats even a program anymore.

Im getting my information from here http://www.ss13.eu/wiki/index.php/ Downloading_the_source_code

If you're having issues related to hosting, ensure all your ports are forwarded properly, and check that socket to see if it's working properly. If not, cycle through your router forwarding settings and ensure that it's firewall, as well as the one on your computer are allowing the proper exceptions.
what should the firewall settings be on both?

sorry im really new to all this
It depends on your router. Most routers use MAC filtering for their firewall, which prohibits local access based off your computer's network card. Make sure your computer isn't listed on the blacklist, and you should be fine.

As for your computer, you'll have to add DreamDaemon as an exception to begin accepting inbound traffic.
