I'm pressing a button and the character responds in like 2 seconds and walks for way longer than expected, this happens in every game I play, what should I do? My connection speed is 50mbp/s download and 10mbp/s upload.

This is most likely a problem of the game you are on, and the server it is hosted with.

In addition to what Vrocaan stated, you may be seeing a visual lag due to the graphics rendering process over that of a network delay (You can benchmark network delay by using the .ping command in the command bar). Changing the graphics rendering from hardware(the default) to software may reduce this display lag. To change to software rendering: Close out of any instances of Dream Seeker > Open the BYOND pager > Options(gear symbol) > Preferences > Games > Uncheck use graphics hardware for displaying maps > OK.
