The title basicaly states it all, I want to put a copy of the Refrence onto a usb stick so that I can get a copy of it printed out at a Staples store but I'm not exactly sure how I would best go about doing this. Thank you =)

Most browsers have a 'save as' option under the file menu.

You can also just take the local copy stored in your BYOND folder (in help\ref).

Interestingly I'm doing some work with the reference now, and it occurs to me that a nice way to generate a paginated document would be mighty handy. It's been a while since I've experimented with generating .rtf files on the fly, but I suspect it'd be possible to work up something to do just that, and then printing to a PDF would theoretically be as simple as loading it up in Word or something and printing with something like Adobe Acrobat distiller.
If the reference was more static in nature we could just put it up on Lulu and spiral-bind it. I wonder what sort of sizes Staples can support. Lummox JR | |

When I go onto print preview after saving a copy to my desktop, the side bar of the refrence pops up, its a pain! I dont want to print that thing out. Somebody should upload a better form or something , I don't know, I can't figure this out...
edit: Also, each page is considered 1 page and it would only print out 1 at a time, also it only prints out the first section of the page marked by a page line, it doesnt actually print out the area where you have to scrol down to view. | |
