Here is my evidence to support this claim.

I left a documentation in there with a sample .dll to test it with.

I hope to expand this for future projects and such.
Can you expound a bit further on this? I'm more than a bit wary of downloading a file with a .dll in it.
surely. The hoax is that it's a .dm file renamed to be a ".dll" when in reality, it is not xD.

The ".dll" file is just a .dm script what contains the proc to execute the command, just like if you code something into a text file and use:

#include "codes.txt"

Dream Maker will compile it as usable code
Oh, and here I thought you'd discovered something useful.
haha, nope, just a hoax. Sorry about the confusion :/ I wished BYOND can call .dll's without call() o.o
Hell, I wish we could access BYOND's memspace and make function calls from DLLs. Better yet, aliasing C++ functions as DM namespace functions.
That'd be amazing :o

Do I sense I Feature Request?? I doubt it'd get passed :o
Do I sense I Feature Request?? I doubt it'd get passed :o

Considering we have three members that can even reliably write DM? I think making C++ based feature requests is definitely an act in madness.
hmm I could always hope :o maybe pay for the addon support?

Only with an authorization code will your game will be able to allow these types of calls?

This way BYOND makes money and only people who find, or could do something with it can benefit from it :o

Name them, brah. Name them without using any vowels.
I had to, sorry. It was my first time ever doing it. But, being that you can call a .dm file even when it's named a .dll by just using #include, isn't that still a bit bad? This should be qualified as a bug. You never know, someone may find some stupid way to abuse it.
I don't really see as how that is particularly abusable, given it's compile time?

2014 is BYOND's year of sick burns.

I'unno. Probably do something like start a "hoax" to slander BYOND's name. You know how those internet people are nowadays.
I'm not sure I follow.
