This is the current interface, but I'm unhappy with it.
I really dislike that fullscreen games make the view so large.
I want the view to be unison and closer for everyone *about the view in the image*
I'm also a bit unhappy with the fact that the interface design adheres to the BYOND norm of chat on the right and panels*so to speak*

I'm looking for input to solve those problems up above.
I want a way to present the chat onscreen, preferably which isn't too hard, menus that may need to pop up for inventory *which also isn't too hard* BUT the stretching of the icons if I were to make the map cover the entire interface window area sort of puts me off.
Are there any alternatives? Other than locking the window size of the game?
For the window size and stretching, you can find the player's screen resolution and set their "view" to that. I personally don't like that as it will give people with bigger screen resolutions a bigger view/possible advantage depending on what kind of game you're making so I just deal with the stretching for now since I'd still like full screen as a possibility.
