I'm going to copy my bug report from the Eternia forum, because it explains the bug in detail. I'm posting here because this appears to be a BYOND issue.

Okay, I think its best to sit down and give a lil story time. So I'm playing other Byond games with my friend, log off for the night, come back, then try to launch Eternia from the client. I get http://i.gyazo.com/87813dc166edb72a0174bfd9d30d947f.png This will stay like this -forever-, I can assume. Upon attempting to close it I get that the program is not responding. So I think 'okay, the client is bugged. Guess i'll do it the old fashioned way'. Then, I go to my BYOND, log in, go to Eternia, and attempt to connect. The little window where ads would usually display is not present. Confused, I clicked again, and again. I try other games, same result. Then.... ho boy. THEN THIS. I look at my processes window... and.. http://i.gyazo.com/ad8445906440b6878a6a7764403d2957.png You see that? Dreamseeker is -running- but not actually DOING ANYTHING.
Steps to reproduce the bug:Unknown, I just did what one would normally do to connect.
Any other information: This is... -probably- a BYOND issue. As such, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, updating, etc.
Why do you have so .. many DreamSeekers open?

It's one per game.

Also try clearing your BYOND cache.
See, there are so many because I kept trying to open the game in confusion, thinking something didn't go through. This caused tons of dreamseekers to start.
Close them, if not already

Clear cache on BYOND

Close BYOND

Reopen and try again.
