Issue hasn't been assigned a status value.
When I add a transparent blend color to a window, to lets say pink, and I change the map's background color to that pink, it will show the map as transparent in the skin editor. However when I run the game, the background is visible, and anything with the same pink are still visible as well. Would it be possible for map elements with the same color as the transparent blend color in the window to become transparent?
Short answer: I don't know. The transparent color key thing was a Windows 98 feature, and on the whole I rather regret that we used that. The DirectX drawing is probably just not respecting that setting for whatever reason. I tend to consider this a bug, but it's low-priority to fix.
