Problem description:

I would love to see some very well done examples of this, more so disabling the Player/Monsters moving diagonal and just North/South/West/East to its currenct destination tile clicked.

Auto Attack for Melee Combat-Moves towards the monster/player starts attacking if the player/monster flees to far then its chase/attack stops.

Projectile Attack for Range Combat-If Player/Monster is to far away from its target and cant attack it then it moves to the range it needs to be able to use the projectile attack.
I think you'd learn a lot more if you at least attempted to do these on your own first. Right now it seems like you're trying to get some plug-and-go free code, which is not what this forum is for.
