Code:
Problem description:
Every time I try to compile, it adds an extra blank line of code and shows an error saying it needs quotation marks, yet nothing I do fixes it.

You probably put a wrong ,;:.()[] somewhere.
|
It reverts any changes I make to the empty line, and the line before it. Nor do I see any incorrect symbols.
|
The problem might show that is on that line but probably is not is somewhere else check all you're code lines make sure everything looks exacly how it should.
|
I have, and out of the 1490 lines, the final blank one is the only issue I can see.
|
// BEGIN_INTERNALS |
I'll tell you right now, the last line is missing a closing quotation mark
#include "code\modules\research\rd-read |
Uh, that was a miss entering into the website... on the compiler I have more code, and that one is partly cut off on here
|
If the error is pointing to the .dme file, then that means the actual line is the very last line of one of your .dm files.
|
Repost of the last bit code from cutoff:
#include "code\modules\research\rd-readme.dm" |
The problem is def not there it might show that is there but its somewhere else in your code. Did you try disable .dm's even thought it will give you alot more error it will also show if youre current error shows up or not that way you can find out which .dm actually is causing your problem.

After hours of trying to figure this out, i didn't think to do that.... THANK YOU!
