Problem description:
It seems like my map was corrupted somehow and I'm not sure how, just one day I open my DME file and everything was unchecked like the program files and stuff and once I checked off all the things I get this problem while trying to open up a map file.

You can open the map file in a text-editor like notepad, navigate to the line showing the error and try to figure out what the problem is and correct it manually.
