I just wanted to say that because I had a ton of trouble getting byond to work, like getting errors with validation, unable to connect to byond central, byond being unresponsive, and all the replies on the related topics all point to clearing the cache or something unrelated...

I really can't believe there are no connections between byond connection problems and peerblock anywhere on this forum...

But maybe only my peerblock blocks byond. But I highly doubt it.

PeerBlock lets you control who your computer "talks to" on the Internet. By selecting appropriate lists of "known bad" computers, you can block communication with advertising or spyware oriented servers, computers monitoring your p2p activities, computers which have been "hacked", even entire countries! They can't get in to your computer, and your computer won't try to send them anything either.

So... Pretty much a firewall..

Of course it's going to be blocked by the program, what you need to do is add BYOND to the "known good"? List..

BYOND has a few subdomain names, but the odds are you firewall will go off hostname and/or program..
