Not Feasible

Implementing this feature is not possible now or in the foreseeable future
Greetings.

I would like to start of saying that the website's new look is really clean and beautiful. It keeps things simple and easy to read.

I was wondering if there could be some sort of dark mode for the site (light on dark). I find this to be easier on my eyes. Such a setting could be implemented in the Account Settings per user.

If not feasible, it is understandable. Anyway, cheers. Have a nice day c:
Changing schemes on a per-user basis is not something I would say is feasible, and maintaining even two separate schemes would be a headache.

Working on it slowly, feel free to add to it.

Plan is to make this into a Chrome + Firefox addon/extension instead of a bookmarklet.

It's not, yet. But it should work, you need to drag the button into your bookmark bar then go onto the forums and press the button, so far only the front page (http://www.byond.com/forum/) has been changed.

Due to Github and it's CORs limits I opted to host the css file remotely and I've updated the bookmarklet to reflect that.

You will have to remove the old bookmarklet and replace it with the new one from - http://msdathk.github.io/BYOND-NightMode/
Chrome Extension - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/byond-nightmode/ naplgihlijobigjhephedoidpaeonlio

The extension adds a small Black Eye icon to the top right of the screen you can toggle nightmode with this, it will follow you through pages or until cancelled / localStorage has been cleared..

The CSS file is remotely hosted and loaded each time, need to look into caching..

This is all on github, feel free to modify it and push your changes.
