Ok the reason for this post is a question most likely for nadrew or anyone who has used Nadrew's HUD system.
Is there a way to display text on the map in the same manner?
Without having to draw an icon for it?

look up map_text (or something like that) by Shadowdarke, and if you have a BYONDscape subscription, look up sd_text, also by Shadowdarke.
