im having trouble running byond again it keeps saying package is damaged and needs to be redownloaded but when i do redownload it , it says the same thing

When you download it, use the Save this file... option, then open the file manually from your hard drive. I think what's hapening is you're not really re-downloading BYOND, Internet Explorer is simply re-opening the damaged file that you first downloaded, which is stored in your Temporary Internet Files folder in Windows. Of course, this assumes your running Windows and IE...
