Is there any way to make one game do something, based on whether or not another game is currently online?

I'd like to setup an inter-game portal between the Ensya I host and the Ensya that Xooxer hosts, but I haven't a clue if that's possible.
There are ways to communicate between servers... I myself have no experience with it either, though. I believe Deadron has a demo about it. You might want to look into it.

By default, world.Topic() responds to a "ping" request to let you know if the game is running.

For robustness, you might want to put into world.Topic() a response that indicates how many players are currently there or something.
Ooh, a portal! Ensya and the Ensya Islands, with a link inbetween the lands. Maybe that's what the circle of black runestones can be for!
