i'm learning adv pascal, is byond any thing like it or do u think i could pick up byond quick?

p.s i know basic pascal.

BYOND is mostly like an easier version of C++ (much easier), I know nothing about pascal, so I don't know how alike they are.

I know PASCAL and C (and C++) pretty well.

I'd have to say that it feels like it has some PASCAL influence, but it seems to me more C/C++ than it is anything else.

Pascal is basically a dead language; it has no future.
BYOND appears more to be based on newer languages created after C. It has some C-like structure but in a lot of ways it's really vastly different. I'd definitely say it's nothing like Pascal. Still, I think it's pretty easy for anyone with moderate programming experience to pick it up.
