Over lays

I looked at nadrews over lay demo and i cant seem to use it in my game This is what i got
obj/overlays
Power
icon='Power.dmi'
icon_state="Power1"
layer=MOB_LAYER+1
I dont know where to go after that
becuase i want to use that when i power up on the game and i want it to go away when they power down
so could some one please help me

Well look up "overlays" in the reference, guide, and all that and see what you can find!

The best way to do this is just to open it up and use Ctrl+F to search the side for the word "overlays".

I made a overlay demo? When did this happen? Has my body been making demos again without me knowing?

Spell system doesn't equal overlay demo.
