We essentially had a minor bit of that with Software Engineering at Southampton, where-by people would be studying at Southampton because it's a well connected university for IBM, and ... Goldman Sachs. The plan? Study at Southampton, get on a software graduate programme with Goldman Sachs. Money money money. They made for really terrible engineers too, best avoided.
