when I ship with USPS and buy and print my own shipping label, when I go to the post office, are the boxes there for free for me? Or do I need to buy them as well. It's just I don't want to look like an idiot picking up a box and begin wrapping up my item just to realize I need to pay for it. Thanks.

You will need to buy the box. They only give you a free box if you use the flat-rate shipping boxes.

Sorry, forgot to mention that. I believe I am in fact using flat-rate boxes. I'm using Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box. So then I can just pick up once I get there?

I figured I'd be able to just get an answer without even getting off this seat here, which I did.

And yet you'll be going there anyways...

Yes, but I won't need to wait in line just to ask if I can get the boxes for free.
