Overlays with dir= EAST/WEST result in SOUTH state being used

Descriptive Problem Summary:

Overlays added from objects with EAST/WEST set as the direction are added with NORTH/SOUTH icon state instead.

I'm not seeing how dirs apply to that image. I just see a circle and some squares. What's the indicator of north/sout vs. east/west?

...Actually, I'm drunk. This isn't a bug. Mark it as such. I forgot that objects always match the direction of what they are applied to. I was thinking of images.
