NetAuthority.com is a fairly amusing parody site. :P
In response to Popisfizzy
The thing is, while the site is funny, the fact is, most of those facts are true. There is a lot of hate on BYOND and occasionally pornographic material, bestiality or otherwise.

What did make me laugh was this:

Bestiality and/or interracial relationships

How the hell could those two things even fit in the same category?

interracial/interspecies
same diffrence =P

This is how:

"God did not intend for different species or races to intermingle sexually. Any content that contradicts this natural law, directly or indirectly, is strictly forbidden."

This is taken directly from their Internet Acceptable Use Policy.

Read the website's policy, Falacy, they aren't mixing the words, they are actually saying that for one race to mix with another is a sleight against "the one true god".
An excerpt from this website:

"We Do Not Make Mistakes

One of the primary reasons people contact us is to notify us that they have been falsely accused of violating the Internet Acceptable Use Policy, and should be removed from our database. If that is why you wish to contact us, you can give up right now. Net Authority takes great care to investigate claims in full before including sites in our database. We guarantee 100% that each and every site we list is offensive in some way and a danger to our children."

Wow... I'm impressed at the ignorance this site promotes.

I submitted their own site for review...

After all, they post links to "pornographic", "hateful", "blasphemy", "beastiality", etc. On their websites. Basically, this will be the best porn directory known to man if they do what they claim they aim to.

The irony is that they're promoting interracial relationships on their About page.

They just got an interesting e-mail from me, I might add:

"Guidelines:

I recently submitted a report of a website that has links to blasphemous material, pornographic material, links to websites condoning beastiality and interracial relationships, hateful material, and offensive political material. This website is www.netauthority.org. This website is essentially a giant database of some of the most hateful sites on the internet. I believe that in adherence to the IAUP, it must be added to the database.

I also believe that not doing so, is hypocritical and will help to further endanger the minds of our children, who are the hope and future of our world.

Imagine, if you would, what the bible teaches us. For us to associate with sinners, is in almighty God's eyes, as much a sin as having committed the sin for which the sinner (you have anchored yourself with) will be judged. To link to this material is to associate your website with such blasphemy, and is a sleight against God, no matter your intentions.

I believe to help right this blasphemy, your organization must protect the rest of the internet from your own blasphemy and sins, and should therefore, enter a database record of itself.

Thank you, a concerned servant of the one true God,

Steven C West"

I wonder how they will justify their way out of that one...

The website is a parody, just so you know. <_<

So it is a joke? Because if it isn't, and it's tied, in any way to things like page blockers that any school uses, it's clearly against the constitution. If it is a parody, like you suggest, than all is good. Although too many people might take it serious. It does shout "Just kidding" all over the place, but some people are truly that ignorant, racist, and stupid.

I love the part about BYOND being blasphemers. That and the racism is what would make me upset if any public schools where using it to control web filters.

I thought you said .com was the parody.

That's a convincing parody...

Alright, I feel better about it, but I can't wait till the people of the South find out about it, assume it is real, and start using it. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised a bit if people 100% believed it, so much so that they start using it to guide their kids, and the whole policy thing doesn't bother them.
I don't really find this sort of parody funny. I don't mind subtle humour, but they've sacrificed all the jokes beyond 'it looks legit but it's not'.
The comments section will make a few people look like suckers, but there's only so many times I can laugh at people who don't realize that the 100% legit looking website is a joke making fun of websites like that which actually exist.

Maybe I'm just really bored with gags like this. Sony Defence Force still gets a laugh or two, but even then it's mainly at the articles. I'm getting sick of laughing at fanboys being provoked by people pretending to be other over the top fans of something else.
lol. i didnt even have to read all to know its a prank -.-
