So, I've been getting attached more and more to simulators like Prison Architect and Subnautica and whatnot. Heck, my Steam just recommends games based on open-world, survival, and simulation now'a'days. I remember years ago all I'd play is Skyrim and FPS. But, I came across this game looking for an alternative to Space Station 13, since I love my some space games (and no, I'm not really into Kerbal or any of the turn-based or strategy-based games).

Anyways, I came across RimWorld and I've been giving it a go. I think I've found my next obsession for a while.
If you like Prison Architect, I think you'll find this enjoyable. It's in some sort of alpha stages right now as one of the "pay before we actually complete the game" which I don't like, but it's the closest thing to scratch my space-station itch except SS13 and well... that crashed when I found out the standalone SS13 is basically canceled and gone open-source.
