But like the hub icon, after a crtl+refresh was gone.
How can I stop this madness!

Well I'm browsing top games, I come across Lummox JR's Incursion and notice that it's hub icon is the BYOND Members logo. ctrl+Refresh, it was gone. That's the end of that, but I just went to check the member page and it seems the member logo was changed to Unknown Person's ultimatum hub icon. (Which this time I made sure I got a picture of!)

Looks like your cache is acting funky, trying clearing it.

your first mistake! using firefox... all firefox is is a spyware magnet, i dont know why people think its better then IE, sureeeee it can use tabs, but seriously, how helpfull is that? IE tabs go at the bottom of the screen, not all that big of a difference, and sureeee in comparision to old no popup blocking IE Firefox was good, but now IE has popup blockers, and spybot prevents 99% of spyware from IE, but firefox? nope! the only thing i liked about firefox was the ability to pause downloads, but you cant even pick where it downloads to! overall, firefox is crap compared to IE versions 6.0 and better

I hope that was irony because I didn't get the joke. =(

irony? u mean sarcasm? and no! firefox is crap even if you peoples dont wana admit it
| |
Dude, this is not the thread to be flaming Firefox. The majority of frequent computer users dislike IE and therefore find an alternative, Firefox probably being the most popular. Netscape doesn't count because it's just like a skinned IE.
And obviously, you don't know that much about Firefox.

Crap? Only if the Crapee was eating roses for a week...
FireFox works on a whilelist system for its extensions, meaning that it won't even let you install an extension(Which requires user input) unless you put it on your whitelist or download it locally and install it manually. FireFox is far more secure than IE, it is far more customizable, it is far more stable(The stability of Add-ons like windows media player don't count), and is far cleaner. IE has many security wholes that allow users to execute code locally that can completely destroy a system. Even after all these patches in the last month, there are a lot that are left. On top of that, IE has very poor CSS support, despite it being the top way to format documents and an accepted method by the W3C(Opera has the best CSS support of the popular browsers, but Firefox's works reasonably well). IE is crap, that simple. IE 7.0 does not fix CSS support, nor is it much more secure. Who thought it was a good idea to tie the a browser in with the core of the OS in the first place? I will thank you not to sully Firefox's name anymore with this FUD.

You're obviously right, I don't know why people argue with you. I mean, everyone knows that a good browser should let virus' be downloaded simply by looking at an image, or that the browser's CSS shouldn't follow the universal set standards.
All those silly people.
Sarcasm is a form of irony called Verbal Irony.

weee, i like to stir up trouble =P
and all i know! is that ive used IE on this computer for almost a year now, and never had any problems and use firefox on the desktop and get spyware out the @$$! so, because i dont speak stupid technical browser terms, IE is better, u lose! put the firefox down and back away slowly!
Yeah, I hate the borders with outsets and insets in Firefox. Eww. IE makes it look much better. I've never seen how it looks in Opera, though with my experience, it probably looks much better.

weee, i like to stir up trouble =P I highly doubt that Firefox is the cause of that behaviour. Firefox is inherently more secure than IE, and the few security holes that do exist are plugged quite quickly. (Compare this to IE, where patches take months to come out, if they come out at all; and most people don't install them anyway, whereas Firefox tends to update itself unless you specifically tell it not to.)
What borders? I do not see these "borders" of which you speak...
I do recommend theming Firefox though, I've never been a fan of it's new default look on Windows. Thankfully theming Firefox is dead simple. =) I use the Opera-lookalike skin ('cause Opera is pretty - I used it for a while, it's quite good, but Firefox is more customisable).

I like a crystal theme myself.
Interesting side note, I closed FireFox to update that theme(While I was looking for the link), opened it back up, and my message was still sitting here, half wrote, just like I left it.

I like a crystal theme myself. Eh, I don't like it. The colours are too bright; the Opera theme just sits quietly out of the way until you want to use it. But then, that's why Firefox themes are so great, because everyone will always have different tastes. =) Interesting side note, I closed FireFox to update that theme(While I was looking for the link), opened it back up, and my message was still sitting here, half wrote, just like I left it. Hah, awesome. Which extension are you using to get that? I have Tab Mix Plus 0.3.0.5 installed at the moment and it doesn't seem to do it. It does save/load my current session (best tabbed browsing feature ever!) but it doesn't preserve the text I've written in <textarea>s (like this one I'm typing in right now).
