Nothing happens when I try to start a game

I've tried to launch SS13 on multiple servers, uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted, did a AVG check for viruses, disabled all anti-viruses and am still having trouble. Byond starts up just fine, but when I try to connect to a server in ANY way I just get a quick "blue wheel" and then nothing for literally over half an hour.

Once every rare while I'll get a window to open after an inordinate amount of time, but then it tends to freeze up.

Lummox JR	Without more information it's hard to say. You didn't even mention which OS you're using. However, AVG is really a bad, bad antivirus program. They haven't been trustworthy in years. I dumped them after they started trashing my Internet connection completely. It's entirely possible AVG is the whole problem.
