Back from a little break to enjoy some vacation (and still enjoying even if back from the break xD)
This update was more focused on the Status Effects while Genesis (Axl 1) is developping the next area in his free time.
Status Effects:
BAD
Poison: Damage the player by 10% of their Max HP each turn.
Paralysis: Cuts Physical Damage Dealt by half and Increase Physical Damage Taken.
Slow: Decrease the player's Speed by half
Sleep: The player is unable to do an action (ATB is set at 0 till wake up)
Confusion: The player loses control of their character and attacks anyone.
Mute: The player is unable to cast Spells, but can still use Skills
Fear: Cuts Magical Damage Dealt by half and Increase Magical Damage Taken, unable to use Skills, but can still use Spells.
Doom: The player will only have 10 turns to cure it or at their 10th turn, they will instantly die.
Petrify: The player is unable to do anything like Sleep, except they will instantly die from any successful hit taken. (The Battle will also count the player as DEAD, so it will be a game over if everyone in the party is incapacitated)
GOOD
Haste: Increase the player's Speed by half
Blessing: Allow the player to have a second chance after being incapacitated with 33% HP restored.
Regen: Heals the player by 7% ~ 14% of their Max HP each turn.
MP Regen: Restore the player's MP by 7% ~ 14% of their Max MP each turn.
Catalyst: Protect the player from Bad Status Effects and Death Blows (Note that Death Blows will dissipate Catalyst status and leaves the player with 1 HP left) from certain amount of turns.
Awoken: Increase the player's Stats, act like Catalyst effect and allow to use Character's Aeon Factor (Aeon Factor are Characters' unique skill learned later throughout the storyline)
BUFFS/DEBUFF
Power Up: Increase Physical Damage Dealt
Power Down: Decrease Physical Damage Dealt
Defense Up: Decrease Physical Damage Taken
Defense Down: Increase Physical Damage Taken
Magical Power Up: Increase Magical Damage Dealt
Magical Power Down: Decrease Magical Damage Dealt
Magical Defense Up: Decrease Magical Damage Taken
Magical Defense Down: Increase Magical Damage Taken

Ghost of ET's Angelic Power: Increase duration of status effects for as long as this lasts. (It basically resets it) Example: If i have poison on me that lasts 3 turns and this is the last turn then Ghost of ET's Angelic Power was placed on me then the poison lasts for 3 more turns. Stealth: Reduces chances of an enemy targeting you by half. Canceling Wave: Prevents an enemy from using their last used attack. Burn: Inflicts damage equal to 30% of an enemies current hp. Gleam: Prevents enemies from healing. Ricochet: If an attack misses it has another chance to hit again but if it does damage is reduced by half. Healing Factor: Once cast upon an ally every time they deal damage they gain hp equal to 20% of the damage they dealt. Void: Dealing damage steals enemy mana Hardened Skin: Taking damage deals 50% of the damage you take back to the attacker |
Doom has no cure!
Poison has been stronger in over games Confusion probally should be changed to somthing else however Fear should act as a posion to Spell points Spellpoints also should naturally recover by some % after battle. ofc if you ask me for status effects, Bubble / Stoneskin could work.. Curse > unable to regain hp by magic, however take less damage form anything that not cursed or undead |
