Whenever I click on the link for Spuzzum's post below (Getting discussion going...going...going), Netscape goes into a tizzy, working and working until I no longer have any memory left available to me and I have to shut Netscape down with the control-alt-delete thing.
This has been happening with seemingly random links for the past few days... offsite links too, so I doubt it's a forum bug (the only connection is that it happens to forum links too and it started happening after you fixed the forum). But maybe one of you computer experts does know what's going on?
I've never downloaded any files from disreputable sources. Unless Deadron counts as a disreputable source.

Does your problem happen consistently with the same links? That would be especially weird here, since the links are just numbers sent to the cgi script. Have you tried it with explorer? Maybe one of your netscape files got corrupted somehow. It happens consistently with SOME of the same links. I was visiting a different kind of message board yesterday and Netscape crashed trying to open a link... when I reopened the board and tried again, it worked. But the links on your forum have been consistent. Maybe I should reinstall Netscape? Maybe you have num lock on? I do, actually. I wonder if the computer automatically turns it on when it boots up. Tell me if there is anything I can do to help. I am still waiting on that Honda Accord. Z |
Odd. It works for me. We did have an infinite loop problem before, but that was on the server side, so you could just hit the "stop" button on netscape.
