Descriptive Problem Summary:
Whenever I attempt to JOIN any type of game I receive connection failed.
I suspect the problem is because of the fact, that when I connect to a wifi I have to enter a LOG-IN via my internet browser, not the settings(public wifi)
I've attempted to solve this as best as I can and with no luck. So here's my last attempt.
Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
Start COMPUTER
Select WIFI
Open WEBPROWSER to access LOGIN page
Open BYOND
Login to BYOND Successfully
Try to JOIN any SERVER/GAME

I've moved this to BYOND Help because it isn't a bug issue. It's a problem with your network configuration.
The most likely culprit is a firewall or antivirus software that's blocking the BYOND software from accessing the Internet. | |
Use a vpn to bypass it if you can find one the router will let you connect to.
You can confirm this is the case by trying mobile applications on your phone that access the internet, some of them will also use non-web ports and get blocked.
There isn't anything byond can do about this.
