Anyone here listen to them? I saw them at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia on Saturday night, and they kicked ass. They sold out and the venue was absolutely packed—when me and my friends got there, the line to get in went around the building. Apparently it was the largest show they've played yet.

I'd 100% love to see them live again, even though I had trouble hearing Brian when he was talking (I think something was up with the venue's audio there). Hearing to him sing was outright impossible, but that was because practically everyone in the audience was singing along.

To anyone who doesn't listen to them, this is one of my favorite songs by them. They have a pretty distinct sound, but they're somewhere along the lines of indie/folk/punk.
Not a fan of that vocalist. Not even familiar with the folk genre period, but I did recently come across this sexy angel who I think is considered a folk singer and I've had her on repeat for a few weeks now.

I wasn't at first, too. In fact, my friend and I both had the same experience with the band: we didn't like them at first, then they started to grow on us a little bit, and then we had them on repeat because we couldn't get enough of them. From what I've read, this is—for whatever reason—a not-uncommon experience with them. Amusingly, when their new album came out I was already a fan, and this process re-repeated itself for it.

Not too bad. Not usually quite the style I listen to, but I might give her a try as there's something about her style I enjoy.
I love the Front Bottoms, Skeleton is currently my favorite song by them.

Skeleton is definitely a pretty great track. Talon of the Hawk is a pretty great album in general, to be honest.
I absolutely cannot wait until Postmodern Jukebox comes back to the Buffalo, NY area. They perform cover songs of popular songs but done in an early 90's style.

And an update, TFB just on Wednesday had their first major network TV performance on NBC.
Reminds me a bit of "The Left Rights: Bad Choices Made Easy", but not as vulgar. :D

I like MSI, but I've never listened to the album that's from. I'll have to give it a try.

On a related note, wow! I never realized the video for "Panty Shot" I've seen a billion times was recorded at the CBGB. Relatedly, I never knew MSI had played at the CBGB.
